Project One

Time Capsule

june 2018 - july 2018
UI and mockups
Project Overview
Time Capsule is a third party app designed to take an existing playlist and embed old music, such as sixties classic rock, jazz, classical, while still retaining the mood and style of the original playlist. These remix playlists can then be shared via Spotify, text, and more. Using Adobe illustrator I have made a few mockups of what the app would look like.
What i learned
This was my very first project related to UI and app design. Through these mockups and I was able to learn the basics in creating a cohesive design language and the process of drafting and iterating through designs.

Project Two

Dime Brief and Pitch Video

march 2019 - may 2019
UI/UX, wireframe, advertisment
For my final project in Advanced digital art and design, I created a wireframe prototype for Dime: a restaurant reservation app that provides a hassle-free dining experience. We had a month to complete the project and in the end I created a functional wireframe, prototypes, mockups, and a design brief detailing the process and user flow. The prototypes were made in Adobe XD, while the mockups were created in Photoshop. After the class ended I also created a video pitch in Premiere Pro advertising the product,

Project Three

USA Federation of AGG

october 2019 - january 2020
Web design
Project Overview
Using wordpress, I designed and continually updated the website for the official USA federation for Aesthetic Group Gymnastics. The website was used to increase awareness of the growing sport as well as keep users up to date on the  competitions that the national team was attending. Part of my job was also to use third party apps to optimize search engine results and increase exposure.

Project Four

Joplin Wishing

february 2020 - march 2020
Poster design
Project Overview
In order to advertise for an upcoming show, the directors of Joplin Wishing, a student written and directed opera based on the book of the same title, commissioned me to create a modern, eye catching poster. The opera was about a girl who came into possession of a platter; trapped inside the platter was a lonely doll. The girl then steps into the world of the platter in hopes of freeing the doll.

Project Five

Liz Lavertu Campaign

july 2020 - present
Graphic Design and Logo Branding
Project Overview
As the Lead Graphic Designer for Liz Lavertu's twenty twenty campaign for State Assembly. My first responsibility was the rebranding of her campaign. The original logo did not present a cohesive image of Liz, so in the new logo I went with the staple navy blue and white, with a hot pink accent in order to play up Liz's strengths as a female candidate. The strong bold name was paired with an italic, modern slogan and header along with an icon of California which contextualizes the logo.
